Nicole Pilon
Under the leadership and expertise of Sr. Pierrette Gagné, Nicole first developed an interest in pastel painting. This gave her the spark to learn more and to expand her knowledge of various paint mediums. The Jerry Yarnell art series were just what she needed to begin to discover acrylic and oil paints.
Working under the direction of Sr. Rachel Labonté and Sr. Pierrette Gagné helped her gain greater confidence and skills in both oil and watercolour painting. Nicole’s work with these two instructors fuelled her fascination with the media and all the techniques that lead to painterly works.
During each of her sojourns in Florida, she continues to work with watercolourists, a media that continues to fascinate her.

Nicole paints subjects from photos from varied sources. She expresses her interest in the work of other artists by visiting a number of annual art festivals.
